Monty' Cabin is perfectly situated for everything good in Tennessee, Nashville is only 15 minutes from the Cabin and its only 20 miles to the Kentucky Border. Goodlettsville boasts an array of collectors shops and antique stores, the usual franchise restaurants and some excellent Ma and Pop home cooked restaurants with musical entertainment. Our 1650 sq foot Cabin stands in 3 acres of woodland but is so easily accessible from the highway, once inside you will love the pine walls and rustic appeal whilst enjoying all the modern amenities, central air conditioning/heat, dishwasher, washer/dryer, side by side refrigerator etc. All three bedrooms are of excellent proportions and have built in closets, the Master bedroom has a King size bed with pillow top mattress, and a large on-suite bathroom with over size tub and separate shower. In the 2nd King room sleep on the antique brass bed, with on-suite bathroom with corner shower. Our twin Provencal beds have pillow top mattresses, with separate bathroom and shower. The Large eat in Kitchen has more than ample cupboard space and all modern appliances, look through the stain glass window to the separate dining room with antique dining furniture. The lounge has a feature fireplace and very comfortable rustic furniture that compliments the whole cabin, as does the 50 inch TV. From the lounge the french doors lead to the 40 foot deck surrounded by gorgeous hardwood trees, from here you can watch the birds, deer, chipmunks, squirrels and feed the hummingbirds.

All the pups at the rescue LOVE treats! So treats are always something we like for you to donate. Big Dog Heaven Animal Care says "Thanks for staying in our place!" This unit is only rented to travelers and is not occupied daily. Sometimes it is closed up for several days with only a fan on and it was built in the 50's.. It is clean, it does have brand new vinyl (pet friendly) flooring which has a new smell. We also have a dehumidifier in the unit, to insure our guest have every option of a great stay. IF you get here and you are not happy, immediately let us know, and we will correct any issue you think you may have if at all possible. IF you stay several days, check out,and act as though everything is great, then leave a bad review, well, that's just not the appropriate action. Like I said it is not POSH, not for this price, but it is clean, and "like going to grandma's"...…. But is you notice, we have many great reviews!! And we will continue to have them! We live right on the outskirts of Nashville just over the Robertson/Davidson county line. All of the relaxation associated with country living, but close to Nashville scene. A short 25-minute drive to downtown Nashville. Less than a 5-minute drive to Smiley Hollow and two blocks from the golf course! Guests will have access to our entire property grounds to include an outdoor fireplace/kitchen and an in-ground salt water pool with water slide! Pool fun and towels are even included! The space Update 09 Sep 2019: We have started to remodel the guest house. The first thing accomplished was a bed upgrade. We now have one main queen bed, two queen murphy beds with regular mattresses and a twin trundle. In turn, we can now sleep up to 7 people. We are going to continue the renovations between guest stays. Please note, all bookings will have pristine accommodations inside the guest house. We just wanted to update folks as the beds no longer look like the photos. They are better!!! We will be obtaining updated photos once all remodeling and updates are complete. Full bathroom (shower), full kitchen (all amenities) with full size ice machine and breakfast bar area, Keuring 425 series system, lots of seating and a main queen platform bed, two queen murphy beds and a twin trundle to sleep up to 7 people. Wifi high speed 5g internet and Xfinity comcast television with expanded programming is also provided. There is also a work desk for those on business travel. Additionally, we have stocked the guest house with several family games, coinhole (yes, the miniature version of cornhole) and puzzles to pass time by. Note: We live on the property in the main house. However, we never use our outdoor amenities when we have guests staying on property. Guest access Salt-water pool with slide, giant connect 4 game, outdoor ping pong table, outdoor fireplace, outdoor kitchen, front pond area and all outdoor grounds. We have a cornhole set, a large basketball goal, pool basketball / volleyball and SEVERAL outdoor game sets available for use upon request. We have added a 6 person hot tub with entry stairs, a 4 person outdoor barrel sauna and a washer/dryer in the guest house. All of these new amenities are for guest use. Note, guests will be required to read through and acknowledge the rules and saftey requirements to use the hot tub and/or sauna. Interaction with guests We live in the main house with a teenage daughters and 2 small dogs. Guests are welcome to all of the outdoor amenities on our property. We do not use our back areas when we have the guesthouse booked. You will only see us out there when we open and close the hot tub cover. Other things to note We are more than happy to help arrange any additional conveniences and/or requests that you need in advance of your stay with us.
